Yanya Luggage is a professional luggage manufacturer integrating design, production and sales. Headquartered in Baigou, Hebei (the leather capital of China), the company boasts a modern production base and a professional technical team, dedicated to providing consumers with high-quality and cost-effective luggage products.
 
Since its establishment, Yanya has always adhered to the business philosophy of “Ingenious Manufacturing, Quality First”. Starting from a small workshop with only 40 employees, it has gradually developed into a large-scale enterprise with more than 300 skilled workers. Its product range covers backpacks, trolley cases, women’s bags, children’s schoolbags and other categories, which are deeply trusted and loved by consumers at home and abroad.
 

2. Development Process

 

① Start-up Period (Early 2000s)

 
The predecessor of Yanya Luggage was a small luggage workshop with only 40 workers. Driven by the founder’s passion for bag making and commitment to quality, the team started with the simplest backpacks, polishing each product carefully and gradually building a good reputation in the industry.
 

② Growth Period (2000s)

 
With the growth of market demand and the expansion of brand influence, Yanya began to expand its factory, introduce advanced equipment and expand its team. The number of employees gradually increased from 40 to 100 and then to 200. Meanwhile, its production capacity and product quality were improved simultaneously, and the product line expanded from a single backpack to various categories such as trolley cases, women’s bags and children’s schoolbags.

3. Production Process of Lady’s Bags (From Design to Finished Product)

 

Part I: Creative Design – The Birth of Inspiration

 
The starting point of every lady’s bag is a design sketch. Designers draw inspiration from market trends, artistic elements and brand positioning to outline the initial style, including appearance, capacity and functional requirements. For top brands such as Chanel, the designer’s hand-drawn drafts usually include simple outlines, color hints, pocket positions and inner layer details, laying the foundation for the subsequent production.
 

Part II: Material Selection – Quality Starts with Raw Materials

 
Leather is the core of bag quality. Top brands such as Chanel, Prada and Mulberry all select high-quality leather from premium producing areas such as Italy. Common leather types include:
 
  • Calfskin: Fine texture, smooth surface, suitable for high-end bags;
  • Sheepskin: Soft, lightweight and warm to the touch, with higher technical requirements for production;
  • Rare leathers (crocodile skin, ostrich skin, etc.): Used for custom high-end products.

② Edge Coloring & Sealing

 
The edge of the leather is dyed, sealed and polished to ensure beautiful appearance and durability, avoiding wear and discoloration after long-term use.
 

③ Adhesive Fixing

 
Environmentally friendly adhesive is used to bond the leather and lining, laying the foundation for subsequent sewing.
 

Part V: Sewing – The Soul of the Bag

 
Sewing is the core link of bag production, requiring high precision:
 
  • For classic styles such as Chanel 2.55 bag, the diamond pattern stitching must be even and neat, ensuring both beauty and firmness;
  • The production of shoulder straps is labor-intensive. For example, the woven part of Mulberry Alexa bag is hand-woven, and the leather chain of Chanel needs to be threaded manually one by one;
  • Finally, the lining is sewn with the outer layer. The inner design of classic bags (such as the red and black lining of Chanel 2.55) is also carefully designed to ensure practicality and beauty.
